BIO
I was born in the Netherlands in 1970 and studied Graphic Arts. I spent most of my working years in editorial (re)design and creative direction. Since 2011, my focus is on photography and designing photo books. Currently I'm working on personal and commissioned projects.

ABOUT
To me, photography is where realism, aesthetics and passion become one, revealing the beauty of everyday things. Whether it’s people, architecture, landscapes or technology, the images I capture contain a story, which in turn invites viewers to include their own stories. Working with available light gives me the ultimate feeling of freedom. Capturing an atmosphere without restrictions. Pure and untouched. I lean towards the tranquil and timeless, and well-balanced compositions. My images communicate with one another by theme, structure, shape and color.
